The alternative singer-songwriter fuses modern soul, roots, blues and folk as seen on her debut release Hard To Forget in 2016; receiving endorsements from Taylor Guitars, Sontronics and Icon Films; alongside features on BBC Radio 2's Dermot O'Leary; Tom Robinson's BBC 6 Music's Introducing and overwhelming support from BBC Radio Bristol Introducing. 2018 not only brings a summer of touring but also Lady Nade's eagerly anticipated follow-up album Safe Place due for release on May 17th 2019 on Mintlime Records.
Lady Nade's music has been likened to a rich fusion of musical greats, with comparisons to the soul-bearing velvet tones of Nina Simone adding a heady, jazz splash of Jeff Buckley thrown in. Her songs fill your heart with nourishing words and melodies, her tender soulful voice drawing you in.
The heart of Nade's debut album Hard To Forget was lovingly crafted mostly in the kitchen. A dedicated food aficionado, Nade poured her creativity into every song and the result is a deeply evocative and emotive record, filled with words that will nourish both body and soul.
