Organisers of the new Coffee & Country festival, taking place in Fulham next week, have confirmed the final details of their one-day festival:
Hot on the heels of the success of Country to Country festival, the unique one-day festival will see rising country stars primarily from the UK perform to fans across two South West London cafes. In a bid to replicate the vibe of the world-famous Bluebird Café in Nashville, the handpicked line-up of ten artists will perform acoustic sessions in The Lekkerbek and the Labis Deli, Fulham.
Founder of Coffee & Country, 24 year old Ida Ahlbom said: “The driving purpose behind Coffee and Country is to continue to raise awareness of this increasingly popular genre in the UK and to champion the excellent British country talent that doesn’t always have a platform to showcase their talents. By hosting the festival in The Lekkerbek and Label Deli cafes in Fulham, we hope to capture the ambience and atmosphere of Nashville’s famous Bluebird Café and introduce members of the public to a host of rising stars.”
The full line-up: Anna Jay, Backwoods Creek, Elliot Joseph, Fifth Floor, Katy Hurt, Lisa Wright, Liv Austen, Rett Russell, Southern Junction, The Southern Companion.
The free festival will kick off at 4pm and wrap up at 8pm and more information can be found here. Donations at the door will be welcomed with all proceeds going to The Haven – a national charity providing personalised care and support for people with breast cancer, helping them to achieve the best possible quality of life.
